Comments: Felt fine, really not too bad considering the tough course. I had to hold back quite a bit to stick with Nicole, but it was important to her and she felt encouraged and did great! Post race
Warm down: Nothing really, had a 2 1/2 bananas and a bit of muffin, a water and a diet coke. Then we went and had breakfast at Mimi's about 1/2 hour later. Feel fine, just another 6 mile training run in the books. What limited your ability to perform faster: Only my decision to stick with my wife for the entire race, which I don't regret one bit. :) Event comments: The water stations could have been spaced better. There were plenty early...up to about 5 or 6K, then nothing and there were several BIG hills in that last 2-3 miles where some water would have been great. Not sure what their thinking was there. Didn't really do any warm up... I planned it as a casual 6 mile training run really since I was going to run with Nicole.
