Comments:

Water was a cool 56 degrees with some nice 6footers breaking on the beach. The swim went well but that was the only thing.

Bike was an 8lap crappy pavement ride that my brakes locked up on the first lap going over some DIRT. Thought I fixed it ended up I didn’t so I was pulling a parachute the whole race. Instead of a 23mph avg I had an 18mph average. Some nasty left hand turns that I thought for sure somebody was going to go down.

Comments:

Run was a 2 lap 10k. they only had one drink station at the 1.5 mile mark so you had to go 3 miles between aid stations can we say dehydration. Plus there was a fat people walk going on the boardwalk about 1/4 mi from the finish / turn around and they wouldn’t get out of the way. I think I knocked about 3-4 of them over

very poorly put togather. swim was short, bike course was changed a few days before the race, run only had one water station for the whole 10k
swim had one guy on a paddle board to help people struggling which was quite a few in the friged waves
