Pre-race routine:

PB on WW bagel, banana, Water and coffee. Live close so travel not issue. Saw lots of friends.

Comments:

Good first 8 miles with the 1:45 group (8 min pace) Next 4 miles struggle. Limped on home to meet goal of 1:50. Beat last year by about 3 mins.
What would you do differently?:

Train for a Half Marathon. Little running this spring, working on the bike. Needed a few longer runs and some speed work. Use this as a spring board for summer.

Warm down:

Not good. Needed to flush out some lactate but really no room.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much run training

Event comments:

Very well run. Everyone had fun. Highly recommend this race.

Course: Diverse, hill at 8miles is a bit tough but I like hills.
