The course was mostly stretching country roads and highways, with a few hills. The first half consisted of most of the climbing...a steady 15 mi uphill, then Heartbreak Hill, a 1/2 mile 15% grade. We had beautiful weather most of the day, with some midday showers that cleared quickly. There was very little traffic except for a jaunt on I-25.
