Run
Comments: I had a decent run... for not taining running in a while. I've been doing alot of the stairmaster and biking, but haven't run much at all. I was pretty surprised at how strong I felt through the whole race, but then again I didn't run too fast, I just wanted to take my time and enjoy it... which I did. When I was done, I swore I could have run 13.1 more!! :O Maybe next year :) What would you do differently?: Not much... I did the race I had planned... nice and slow and a race to enjoy without worrying about time. Post race
Warm down: Grilled hamburgers that they were grilling at the finish line, yum!! What limited your ability to perform faster: My mental attitude, LOL!! Just don't feel like running fast anymore through racing. I'm too old and want to enjoy things without killing myself to do it, LOL Event comments: I loved this race, and I loved the cause. It was really sad however to see all the pictures people had pinned to their backs representing their loved ones who were killed in the bombing. I gave my condolences when I could, and when I found myself crying about their loss, I didn't say anything :( ... but Oklahoma City is a great place. It was a beautiful day to run and remember the 168 victims that were killed on April 19, 1995. I would go back in a heartbeat and do this race again :) Last updated: 2007-05-01 12:00 AM
