Swim
Comments: Swim distance was shortened to 200yds. so there was only 1 direction per lane. This seemed to work better for the traffic jams. Ended up passing 3 people in the pool. Swimming after the run/bike is a lot different than when its at the first. I was riding low in the water, didn't realize until I got out that I still had my shirt on and racebelt/number! What would you do differently?: More T2 practice, practice swimming swimming more with heartrate near max for 30 minutes. Transition 1
Comments: Run To Bike transition Managed to pass the studly dude during transistion that I couldnt quite catch on the run. I'm quite proud of that because I practiced quite a bit with the cleats. He was about 5-10sec/mi faster than me and I couldn't keep up with him without going into the red. Of course he passed me on the bike in the first half-mile, I was going 25 and he must have been doing 30+ on his fully decked out carbon tri-bike. Bike
Transition 2
Comments: Bike to Swim transistion. This was a semi-disaster. Time is good but forgot to drop the glasses and take off the shirt and number belt. What would you do differently?: Need more practice with this? I practiced several times (at least 4-5 sessions). I just can't seem to think clearly after my HR has been maxed out for 45minutes, I get in some kinda pain zone and shut everything out. Run
Comments: 7:12,7:15 now 7:21, I just keep getting slower :) Maybe need to run more. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: T2 but the time was ok. Event comments: Overall good organization. Could have used a few trash cans around. Last updated: 2007-05-03 12:00 AM

none, lotsa pacing back and forth from pool area to transition waiting for race to start.
