Swim
Comments: Swam hard at start but missed a big group ahead and then pushed hard to catch up a small group, after 8 mins settled in. Stroke was rushed and a bit frantic need to relax and lengthen from the start What would you do differently?: Swim faster and straighter! Transition 1
Comments: Good transition, What would you do differently?: just need elastic on the shoes to quicken up the jump on. Bike
Comments: Start of bike was HR going up into 170s 168 was quite easy to get too. Need to relax and build from start, What would you do differently?: Build from start, get HR down at start. Transition 2
Comments: Missed my racking slot by a few metres (bit short) What would you do differently?: Check and check again racking (did it 4 times beforehand as well) Run
Comments: left tranition at reasonable pace this time but struggled after halfway, nothing in the engine to push on. Felt a twinge in Left hamstring just starting the run. What would you do differently?: Go bit easier on first lap? Post race
Warm down: stretch and then walk and massage What limited your ability to perform faster: Previous week(end) left me feeling tired and flat. Nothing in the engine on the run Event comments: Great Race, good location, just lots of people to dodge around on the run Last updated: 2007-05-04 12:00 AM
