Swim
Comments: This was an ok swim other than the fact that it was the LAST part of the race which really killed me big time What would you do differently?: I would probably try to work on my flip turns a bit. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: The bike was long and tiring but over all it was a blast. The only issue was the person that was doing water dropped it into my lap rather than handing it to me. Whoops!! What would you do differently?: There is really nothing I could change rather than my speed. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I was a bit slow on the run but I was nervous and trying hard which is all that matters. What would you do differently?: Maybe try to pick up the pace rather scene watching. Post race
Warm down: I walked around with my mom and dad (mmakbenton and benton4) and also got my race number autographed by Hunter Kimmper and got pictures with him. He said he did this race 20 years ago at age 10. What limited your ability to perform faster: Knowing that I had trained for this and that I would never give up no metter how hard it was. Event comments: This was an awesome race and I really hope to do this race again next year and possibly in the future, do the adults race. Last updated: 2007-05-05 12:00 AM

I ate a chocalte-chip breakfast cookie and a chocalate almond Fi-bar for breakfast and then headed to the race about 20min. later.
For warm-up I ran up and down the sidewalk 1-2 times and also stretched for about 2 or 3 minutes.
