Pre-race routine:

Got there hour and a half early. Got marked and set up. Checked out the swim course. Visited and asked questions.
Event warmup:

Light jog - changed into wetsuit 100 yd swim some stretching.

Had tons of fun with the swim. Swam the first 25 yds with head up. Didn't have any problems. Passed a ton of people.
What would you do differently?:

I could have done this faster. I wish that I had started up front so I didn't have to swim threw so many people.

Everything went fine. Had a hard time getting my food open - thought it was before the race. Forgot to tie my shoe laces small so as not to catch in the geers.
What would you do differently?:

Make sure that my food is ready to go. Tie shoes better.

Didn't dare push too hard - wanted to make sure I had something left for the run. Went at a slow but steady pace.

Weight - and need more training more miles. Need to get some speed on the run and bike.
