Run
Comments: Ran the first mile at 7:50, so went out a little faster than we wanted, but we figured it out and slowed some. I wasnt too sure what to expect with a du, so I didnt want to kill myself off the bat. Transition 1
Comments: fine, it took me a few to get my bearings, im so used to so many other things with tris, drying off, wetsuit or whatever, all i had to do was grab my shoes and helmet and go! What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: Well, after taking out too quick on the run, we tried to settle in on the bike. Three of us were hanging together for hte race, so it made it a little easier. But then we turn the corner for the railroad tracks, and uhhhh, theres a train, and about 50 people stopped (bikers i should say). Yup, we were stopped by a train. Big bummer. Supposedly they were giving time credits, but I really dont know what they did. AND my bike split isnt showing in the results.. another bummer. But since three of us stuck together, I just used the girl i rode and ran with the whole times split for hte bike. Im happy with it.. What would you do differently?: I need more power Transition 2
Comments: dont know my T2, because i had no bike split Run
Comments: Hmmmmm.. I really didnt think I did a 26 min 5k at the end. But it is hard for me to guage my speed after coming off the bike, so who knows. What would you do differently?: Still need more speed on the run. Its a common theme for me Post race
