Warm down: walked to and from boat dock (1 mile round trip) general stretches 8oz water 6oz gatorade 1/2 clif bar What limited your ability to perform faster: nerves going into first major event solo need to train harder on bike - my ride was terribly slow because of the mass of people, it was a little overwhelming and slightly confusing. Event comments: A few voluteers clueless & glued to their (personal conversation) cell phone when approached. Swim- breathing in fumes from nearby pontoon boat not good: affected breathing and performance Overall was a good, clean, fun event.
