Pre-race routine:

Toast and peanut butter this morning along with some Gatorade endurace.
Event warmup:

Comments:

Started out where I wanted too and felt comfortable the whole run. I was even able to push it a bit on the last mile.
What would you do differently?:

Nada. Today was a good run. I didn't really want to "race" it, but get a decent long run in. I hadn't had one in a while.

Warm down:

Stretched and walked the 4 blocks home! It's nice to have the start line just down the street!

Event comments:

Great race. Alot of the route was on streets I run on all the time, so I knew what was coming. Then again, some of the course was in a part of town I never run (including the ONE hill in all of eastern SD) so I got the chance to see some more good run routes.

Course: City streets, along some nice homes, under shade trees. Wind was coming out of the east and was noticeable when running that way.
