Comments: Time including jog up hill and around the entire transition area before crossing mat. Wet suit came off fairly quickly, used body glide on lower legs. No warm up and I did not get warmed up until ~500m or 10min which is just about right for me. Felt great coming in final 250m. However, very off course initial 200m, poor mechanics first 200-4oom. Sighting and mechanics improved with distance. What would you do differently?: warmup Transition 1

Comments: Did well keeping up with riders and passing on the hills. Passed on downhills and flats. Tri-bikes kicked my butt again but I should still be able to avg better then 20mph on my old school bike. Transition 2
Comments: Only got one foot out while on the bike, interesting. Put socks on because I was concerned about running barefoot with my orthosis in. Otherwise, I would have been below 1 min. Run
Comments: I was looking for mile markers but saw none. A little slower then I wanted but still under 8min/mile. Pretty good hill at about a mile. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Slow bike but I've only been on it a half dozen times this year. Event comments: I loved the course, I certainly enjoy the hills better then a flat course like Parris Island. Will do again next year. Last updated: 2007-05-14 12:00 AM
