Pre-race routine:

got up early, no power so went and had a coffee, bagel and a pop tart at gas station.

race started befor person in my lane was done, I wasnt even in the water yet, wasnt warmed up and had to follow last wave for 25 meters. not a way to start a race. my googels were thrown on quickly and leaked bad. After the first 100 did get in a groove but swimming is usually my best but not today. Was 30 sec faster last summer.
What would you do differently?:

have race start after my lane is clear, also be more ready to go with google on.

good T1, was a little off from swim but got back into groove. did the shoes on pedal thing, could have gotten shoes on better but not bad overall.

keep working on getting on bike while running and getting shoes on faster.

felt good on bike only got passed by 2 and keeped Dave in my sights the whole race. best bike I have raced. there was a few parts where I should have pushed harder, let HR drop to low.

first mile realy good caught dave befor mile 1, was passed by marvin at mile 2 (he is much better runner than me) at mile 3 Gorman passed me, I tried to run with him but didnt have any gass left. had a big cussion so slow up the last .5 mile with mild side cramping. didnt have much legs left
What would you do differently?:

push harder the last mile
