started too far back - underestimated my own ability and grossly overestimated the other ladies in front of me. Many of them cut the final buoy (I did not)
What would you do differently?:

Start closer to the front of the swim wave

As the first part of bike was up a hill, I did not start out with shes on pedals.
What would you do differently?:

Gear down and put shoes on bike to save a bit of T1 and mount time.

Not having ridden (or driven) the course ahead of time, I did not push as hard as I could have, saving myself.
What would you do differently?:

Push harder and spend more time in big chainring and on drops. And not bother to call out 'on your left'. Wastes energy, nobody else does it.

remove feet from shoes before dismount and run into transition in sock feet.

Not bad, kind of boring, no shade, saw lots of peoples I knew and we highfived each other.
What would you do differently?:

Do as my coach suggests and quick, light feet out of T2. After I get off the rocks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

less experienced swimmers in front of me at the swim start, should have pushed harder on the bike, could have pushed harder on the run.
