Swim
Comments: I wanted a strong swim. Not sure why as havn't been swimming since 70.3. But went out with elites (same wave as mine). They are fast...I just hung on as long as could. I was winded and took it some what easy jog to transtion (hurt time) plus think my T-1 time included here too. What would you do differently?: Practice more Transition 1
Comments: somehow not recorded.. Think about 1 minutes as shoes/socks took a while Bike
Comments: slight problem with gears and could use high ones as rubbing bad...Had good spin in lower gears though but really took toll on hills. Still trying for a 20+ mph goal. What would you do differently?: make sure to check bike and gears. Transition 2
Comments: nothing special.... What would you do differently?: try and run in transition Run
Comments: I tried running with cold water bottle and poured to cool off. Seemed to work but still ran slow/comfortable. I know I can run 20-22 just have a hard time pushing myself. What would you do differently?: push on run Post race
Warm down: hung out with family and friends. Thought I got my sister a penalty as I ran back to watch her finish and in excitment ran next to her (well not on course) for 50meters on last d=straight away before official yelled at me and said he was going to penalize her for pacing. Luckly nothing happened butr learned my lesson. Still think nice to cheer on as long as not getting in anyone way. What limited your ability to perform faster: my training is not up to par yet Event comments: I enjoy the key races. My goals last two are: 1. sub 1 hour 2. over 20mph avg. bike 3. under 8minute miles avg. on run (would like sub 22) 4. keep enjoying Last updated: 2007-05-18 12:00 AM
