Comments:

since i was trying to pass that frog style guy, I got distracted from siting and as such i did wya more swimming, especially with the current...so it was not cool..but i did ok i guess~!!! i DID love swimming.
What would you do differently?:

I need to get better at form, and improve my relationship with the water

What would you do differently?:

Bike
  • 1h 21m 51s
  • 24.85 miles
  • 18.22 mile/hr
Comments:

It was super hard, I realize I need to work on my bike big time. D man got me fitted about 2 weeks ago hadn't spent significant time on it, so I need to get better at it, also at nutrition on the bike and also at working the adequate muscles! thought about bill the entire ride and tried to hydrate as much as I could... i used gatorade instead of accelarade, which was a mistake since I used to ride with accelerade!
What would you do differently?:

wow a lot! I would have pushed myself a bit more... mentally i was a bit down the first loop, then i gained speed and was WOOOHOOOing all the way!
Transition 2
  • 01m 5s
Comments:

it took me a bit longer here
Run
  • 59m 13s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 09m 32s  min/mile
Comments:

MAN WAS THIS FREAKISHLY HARD!!! it was super fun, but the first mile I encountered somethign I hadn't encountered in YEARS...i encountered "the walking monster" I wanted to stop and walk for a bit...my muscles were sore as hell and cramped up... they were stiff stiff...i think that first mile I did it in like 12 minutes possibly..i mean I sucked! plus the first mile had the bridge...it took me about a good 20 minutes to get into the groove, once my muslces felt better I just went on and on and on... it was great to pass people...and cheer them on...it was hot and i was thirsty and dehydrated the entire time..but i kept going...I knot i was averaging a 9:20 miler run, which SUCKS big time, but considering the conditions it was ok! I loved the run though...despite the heat and the mental challenge\. right as the last 200 meters this guy said, right under 3h rs. so I sprinted those and it felt great I realized I had much more in me!
What would you do differently?:

i would stretch maybe a bit and hydrate and not stay up uptil 2am in high heels on friday...against my willl, but i learned my lesson
Post race
Warm down:

mmm nithign really i was full and felt sorta grody, but it was fine.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

mentally i was beating myself up for not resting friday night and for working out so hard during the week..my muslces were sore the entire week including sat and sunday morning before the race...also taking my trip the weekend before did not do well for me mentally and that is HUGE..i think physical is 30 % and 70% is mental...at least for me..it's proven to be right before...my brain pushed my body and so if my brain is fine, my body can take it....

Event comments:

the race was super fun, I can't wait to do it again and cant wait to improve my time and train for a Half ironman and the full1!!!!! can;t wait!
