Swim
Comments: I had some navigation problems. As this is my strong suit, I decided to start on the bouy line and try and get out front. I didn't sight well, so I rounded the bouys poorly. For some reason, I thought the course was going to be more rectangular and went way off course after the 2nd bouy. What would you do differently?: Navigate better Transition 1
Comments: Pretty good transition once I got the suit off. Coming out of the water, I did have trouble unzipping, but they had some folks there (not wetsuit strippers) to help out with this. What would you do differently?: Not much other than get my suit off Bike
Comments: I thought I did a good job. This is my weakest link and I feel I've made significant strides in improving over the summer. I'm happy with my performance, but would love to continue to improve. The RR already had 28 miles, but my computer showed 30.2. Also, lots of 180 degree turnarounds on this course. What would you do differently?: Not much. I really worked hard on my cadence and speed. Transition 2
Comments: Pretty quick transition that would've been quicker if I had put my hat/visor out (it was still in my transition bucket/stool). I ripped the lid off and grabbed my visor and was off. What would you do differently?: Make sure all my equipment is out and ready. Run
Comments: Good run. I felt strong (exceot for some hills) and think that I could've run fatser. I finished strong and still had as in the tank. What would you do differently?: Even though I kept a real good pace, I know I can run faster. Post race
Warm down: Hugs from my girls (both daughters, wife, and dog). I walked around and stretched. I stood in line for a massage, but grew tired of waiting and went to look for eveyone else. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just me. Event comments: I didn't see any fellow BTer's postrace (except Sally - who finished on my heels) because of an error. I milled around awhile and then decided to get my stuff and change clothes. Well, dumb me, I took my bike out of transition when I went to my car. Now what am I going to do with it? Realizing my mistake, I decided to head off. Please excuse my lack of support - I am sorry. Last updated: 2007-05-23 12:00 AM

Got up and had a banana, some peanut butter on toast, a cup of tea, and some water. Also had 1/2 a Clif Builder Bar at the race site.
Minimal stretching and lots of milling around looking for other BTers
