Comments: My previous fastest 5k time was 29:34 so I was VERY happy to drop over 3 minutes! What would you do differently?: Wear tank top next year if temps are the same or warmer. Buy a cooler hat. Remember to take cal/mag before the race and then walk and stretch right after the race. Reset the maximum HR on my HRM so it doesn't warn me when I go over 185. :) Post race
Warm down: Then legs cramped up for the first time ever. Walked it off as best I could. Knees hurting too. Drank some chocolate milk and felt better in about 1/2 hour.
