Comments: My goal was 1:20:00. So I accomplished that. This was a hilly course and it was a humid morning. My first race with hills like this and I averaged 8:37/mile. I'm happy with this. Felt pretty good all the way and never really pushed hard. The winners ran 5:16/mile pace. Crazy!!! What would you do differently?: Need to get a fuel belt for these longer races, I just cannot drink enough from the paper cups. More and more hill training. Post race
Warm down: Walked and stretched. Great food spread with bagels, cookies, fruit, muffins, and lots of beer(but none for me :)). What limited your ability to perform faster: Experience. Event comments: Very professionally done race. Very fast 4 mile race at the same time (winner ran 17:54). Very good experience for low price. Will do this one again. Last updated: 2007-06-12 12:00 AM

9 miles with hills...warm up after start, did some stretching though.
