Pre-race routine:

Got up, had 2 cups of coffee, PB&J, water and gatorade
Event warmup:

Got in water for a few minutes in the morning. Day before, rode bike course with greg.

First swim was intersting. never has that kind of experience before. Glad i survived it hope to better next time.

try and a get a rhythm better and stay with one type of stroke.

race belt fell off, iverall was good. did a mental chekc of eveything and had all i needed. Took a few seconds to take a GU and i needed it.

did well on the bike, much better than i thought i would. Passed lots of much faster bikes. Riding the course the day before really helped.

fell a bit whne i tried to unclip one shoe, but recovered well. Dismount needs to be much smoother.

Warm down:

walked a bit had water and gaterodae.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bike is a bit to small, transitions were not fast enough, and simply not knowing what to expect.

Event comments:

This race was not well organized or well managed. No timing chips, no dimount line, not sanctioned therefore rules were not enforced very well. But i did like the course and all the people i met. Thie race was a great way to start and leave me wanting more.
