What would you do differently?:

read the race description better. I mistakenly thought the race was only 300M - instead of 500M. When infact, they only wanted your 300M time. However, I was still faster than I was during my first race, given my finish time. So, there was some improvement. Just not what I was gunnin for.

beter transition from my frist race. Time was about 2 minutes and some change faster. I wasn't nearly as winded. I didn't clip my shoes into my pedals beforehand. That is something I'll have to work on. I also coulda done better regarding getting to the "mounting" line and getting on my bike. Should be mroe fluid.

couldn't clip in for the first 1.5 mi. For some reason my right shoe couldn't get into the clipless pedal. Sacrificed some power and energy dealin with that. Didn't get down on my aerobars, either. Handled my shifting much better and once I got clipped in - felt much stronger. Didn't run outta gas eitehr..although I feel like I could've gone a bit faster - pushed a bit more. Again, I was faster here than in my first race by about 3 minutes and some change...for the same distance.
What would you do differently?:

clip shoes into pedals beforehand....ensure my bike is adjusted so I can get down on the bars....pushed a bit harder.

need to work out the kinks here with multitasking. I was faster in this T2 by about .30 from my first race. However - I need to do a better job of moving from bike gear to run gear..and do it more fluidly

had cramps the whole time. Thought it was a result of my bad bike settings and poor bike portion nutrition.

set up bike properly...hydrate better.
