Swim
Comments: This was my first tri so I tried to pace myself. I took up swimming after knee surgery last year and this was the first time I've ever swam in a race. There is definitely room for improvement in my swimming abilities What would you do differently?: Push a little harder for the last 200m Transition 1
Comments: Went well Bike
Comments: Could have pushed harder but wanted to have enough for the run What would you do differently?: probably pushed harder during the first 5 miles which are relatively flat and downhill Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: This was my first tri and the first time I've run competitvely since tearing my meniscus last July. I tried to not push hard during the run just to see how my knee felt. It felt pretty good and I think I'll do another tri and incorporate some 5-10k races to see how the knee responds Post race
Warm down: a little stretching Event comments: Loved it. Great volunteers and really, really nice people involved in the race Last updated: 2007-06-20 12:00 AM
