Pre-race routine:

got up at 3:30am...got breakfast yogurt/bagel and water...was alittle nervous about the race, it was my first Olympic distance Triathlon.
Event warmup:

i really didn't stretch to much, just got my transition ready and hung out with friends my my Tri club...
Swim
  • 33m 52s
  • 1640 yards
  • 02m 04s / 100 yards
Comments:

the swim was good after i got my bearings cause had a a guy swim right over me (the mens wave 35-39) caught up to my wave. i did panic alot and i got my breathing back to normal. and just swam as fast as i could. i kept a good eye on were the bouys were and made sure i stayed on course.
What would you do differently?:

considering i had no open water swims, i tried my best to hang in there, but i would like to do some open water swims
Transition 1
  • 05m 26s
Comments:

this trasition was a long one, the longest one i ever had...
had a problem taking of my wetsuit
What would you do differently?:

just try to get my suit off much faster
Bike
  • 1h 29m 32s
  • 24.85 miles
  • 16.65 mile/hr
Comments:

i had a great experience with this course, i took it easy cause i knew i had 6 miles to run.
What would you do differently?:

i really enjoyed this course, if anything just go faster
Transition 2
  • 03m 24s
Comments:

this transition wasn't too bad, could be better, but this was my first race of the season. so good leaning experience.
when i was coming out of the water, i did scratch up the top of my foot so i was trying to clean myself up, cause i was bleeding.
What would you do differently?:

just go faster
Run
  • 1h 00m 21s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 09m 43s  min/mile
Comments:

my run was great, i know i wasn't my fastest, but considering it was my first race of the season, and my lack of training i didn't want to over do it
What would you do differently?:

i felt i did the best i can do
Post race
Warm down:

drank water, and got stretch out (thank you jason!!!)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

LACK OF TRAINING

Event comments:

very organized and there was alot of sopport throughout the course. I can't wait to do this race next year!!!

and a big thanks to my TRI club (Team TRIumph)...
