Nice course....I wore a wetsuit because everyone else had one and I hate them!! They feel weird on my chest and I dont like it. Got into the swim part way and felt the tightness on my chest and treaded water and took it off and thru it to a guy on the raft. Got into a rythm and felt good. not great since I hadnt been swimming much due to soreness in my surgery shoulder. Made it thru much slower then expected.
What would you do differently?:

Need to spend more time training

Very nice ride. After the first lap had to potty and got my fluids refilled....took my time.

Transition took alittle longer....they still had me down for the aquabike and announced I had finished. Had to go see the man and give him my chip number and told him I had changed it earlier and was told there wouldnt be a problem.
What would you do differently?:

Be sure there is no problem changing to half ironman instead of aquabike

It was a nice run. I had to walk up most of the hills. My second loop was better then the first and really felt like it went by fast

my weight and dont train as hard as I should

Event comments:

I think this is my favorite race of all! Maybe because it is here where I live but the course is so hard and hilly but so much fun!
I still am waiting my correct times for my run due to them still having me as aquabike. I took into account when I started and when I finished and approx how long last transition took

2 lap nice and hilly course....gravel road....had to watch you step some
Course: Aide station ran out of fluids at mile 9. Needed it then! Made it to the next station and got some fluids and gel.
