up at 5 ate oatmeal, 2 poptarts and stoped for coffie
Event warmup:

bike 2 miles, ran 1/2 mile, since it a mid race no HR moniter just tried to max HR it. Had a gu 5 min befor race,

had goal of 8:00 mile so happy with what I got, overall I am still behind the pack in running, need more speed work... splits were 705, 755, 742, 741, 837, 700, 141

dont lose focus at mile 4-5 (837), I need more speed work...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I dont think the 1/2 iron 2 weeks effected me much, It was more the lack of training the last 2 weeks that I was worred about. I still dont think it bothered me much. I had a goal of 2:30 and crushed it by over 10 min. so very happy with race. did have 2 gu's on bike, should have had one on the run...

Event comments:

very good race for first year, highly recomend, is a good course to PR on with the fast bike...
