This was a great swim and it felt very easy. I felt very relaxed.
What would you do differently?:

Double check how well attached the timing chip is. I lost time to having to fix my nearly-lost timing chip band!

I have improved in other areas but still need a lot of work in transition if I am going to have those times on par with my actual event times.

This is the best bike ride I've done in a race. The hills almost psyched me out but I managed to climb them.

They did not close the course to traffic and sometimes the narrow area for riders became uncomfortably congested.

I need to learn to take my shoes off before dismount, get triathlon shoes, etc. I hope this will improve my T2 times!

Event comments:

This is the first year of this race. It has a lot of potential! The organizers should really use mile markers next year. Also, having two widely separated transition areas was tough for spectators.
