Comments:

Had a good run. The weather was the best it's ever been in my 8 times running this race. I was able to qualify for the sub-seeded corral this year and I wanted to take advantage of that and try to go for a mug.. top 1000 finishers get one. That may sound easy, but the cutoff is usually around 44 minutes. This year, it's probably lower due to the great weather. I ran well, not much to note except for a 12 year old girl running right along side me for half the race.. her name "Hannah" painted across her back.. She'll probably be in the olympics some day. She was blazingly fast for her age and stature (tiny). I saw the family at 16th street and stopped to give the little ones a hug and a kiss each.. then was back on my way. Crossed the finish at 42:59 chip time, 43:15 gun time. Of course, chip time is all that matters to me. :)

Right now, overall placing, I am 773 of 55000. Looks like I'll get that finishers mug that I have been coveting.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. Did a Century just 4 days prior, and a difficult run on Monday night, so I was not on my A game. Close, and that's good enough.
Post race
Warm down:

Walk to the T balloon to meet up with several other BT'ers, then headed over to Jock's N Jill's on 10th for some recovery drinks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Previous workouts, close together.

Event comments:

Usually I walk away from Peachtree swearing up and down that "this is my last year for a while" .. well, with this years weather and results, it's hard to say anything negative. Good race today.
