Swim
Comments: Great swim. A bit off coarse at beginning, but got back into the pack and made some serious time up. PR Half IM swim What would you do differently?: Better sighting, but bouys were far apart!!! Transition 1
Comments: Great T1. NO issues Bike
Comments: Phenomenal bike. What I expected and better after all the hard work this season... Transition 2
Comments: Fast T2, Got a bit tangled trying to remove HR monitor to run solo... What would you do differently?: No need for fuelbelt because of downpuring rain and very well maned aid stations... Run
Comments: First 10 awesome 48:32. Second 10 got cramps at mile 9-10, so backed off a bit and conseved the energy earlier in the run. 58:27. Overall 20th place lap 1, 17 place lap 2. I guess I wasn't the only one who was suffering. Eventhough there weas cloud cover, the humidity was up there!!! What would you do differently?: Pace my self earlier on the run and stretch at every aide station for 10-15 sec. Post race
Warm down: Endurox and family froends hanging out and celebrating. Stomach felt like ass, from all the gels and pushing the last 2 miles to hit 5hrs or less... What limited your ability to perform faster: Genetics... Event comments: Great location, excellent support. Poor post-race food and access to family. Overall I would do it again.
