Pre-race routine:

got to site, set up my T1, only needed a T1 since this race was only a swim/run. Hung out with my team, also ran into some friends who were doing their first race ever of any kind. I gave them some tips and some words of encouragement.

the was a point to point swim which i should have killed, my swim has been pretty good this year so far in the pool, but for some reason i was slow, slow, slow.

i needed to push myself harder on this run if i did i could of gotten 3rd place in my age group. I really can't be upset with this run, since i've be doing tris my run has always been my worst event, so for me to run a 5k in under 24 mins after a swim is huge for me. I just need to push myself
