Swim
Comments: Swim felt tough. It was my first wave start and I started out too hard. Waves were about 8 inches but felt like 1.5 feet. We started out swimming into them so the first 1/3 of swim was hard going. What would you do differently?: I should have counted to 10 and then started. Transition 1
Comments: I felt sluggish. What would you do differently?: I didn't have a water pail and I spent extra time wiping sand off feet. I could have gotten out faster. Bike

Comments: Felt pretty good. The run out seemed longer than I was expecting but return trip was fast. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked around and had a bagel, cream cheese, and gatorade. When on a fast walk Sunday with family What limited your ability to perform faster: I did not feel as into the race as my first one becuase of all the distractions in life right now and knowing that I did not have any spectators watching. Event comments: It was a decent course with pretty good organization. I would have liked it better if they would have made the course information available before the race so I could have scouted it and practiced on it a few times. Otherwise it was well done. Drew had an accident in bed at 5:00AM so I threw his sheets in wash and had a bagel with Peanut Butter then went back to bed until 5:50. Left cabin at 6:10 and arrived on site around 6:40.
Walked transition area and swam about 50 yards.
