Total Time = 2h 42m 12s
Overall Rank = 81/138
Age Group = M45-49
Age Group Rank = 6/13
Swim
  • 26m 37s
  • 1500 meters
  • 01m 46s / 100 meters
Comments:

Time trial start: They line everyone up along the lake shore and send people one by one--the entry is too narrow for a mass start. This makes things take a little longer but is a cool sight.

Beautiful clear lake.
Transition 1
  • 05m 23s
Comments:

Longish run up a hill to the transition area.
Bike
  • 1h 12m 41s
  • 24.85 miles
  • 20.51 mile/hr
Comments:

Very crowded, with Sprint + Olympic all doing multiple laps at different speeds. But very, very fast on the highway, and all the riding is N/S, so no sun problems.
Transition 2
  • 02m 28s
Run
  • 55m 2s
  • 6.21 miles
  • 08m 52s  min/mile
Comments:

I held back; this was just a training race. OK steady effort at controlled HR.
Post race
Event comments:

A good course on all 3 legs. Start was delayed but overall a good race.
