Pre-race routine:

Got up, brushed teeth, drove to the race site from our camp site. I set my stuff up and tried to nap in the car a little, then I just read on the pier for a little bit.

I rode about 10 miles of the bike course. Five out, five back. It was fun. Stretched a LOT

Got that same "running sickness" but to a lesser degree. went away when I had gatoraid instead of water.
What would you do differently?:

Pick up the pace. it's only a half hour of running.
