Comments: I was happy with my swim, my time wasn't the best but I try to stay on the outside so I lost some time there. But I had no one close to me in the water.The water was very cold for this time of year. I try to push myself at the end I felt that I passed a few people in the water. What would you do differently?: Stay more in a group swim and stay close to the bouys. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Had a good Time. the only thing was I had a hard time getting into my shoes. I know I lost some time on the bike. ![]() Bike
Comments: I had some trouble getting into my shoes,it took about a min to get into them. I felt good on the bike 4km into the ride had that hill to deal with,I went up fairly easy the last 250m had the steep part I went up that slow but I made it. after that it was a good ride. I had a few people pass on the bike, I felt I had a good pace going. I lost some time on the hill I try to get it back. I made some time up. On the back end of the bike. Overall I was happy with my bike time. ![]() Transition 2

Comments: Ok run. I did not have to walk at all, that was a plus for me. My time was not too bad a min faster would have been good. About a km into the run I was getting a stich in my side. I was there for most of the run I felt a little better after the 4km mark. and I try to finish strong. Overall not too bad with the run. ![]() Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: My run was the slowest of all 3 I lost most of my time on the run.I need to work more on my run or my bike? Event comments: Overall a good day happy with my A/G placeing. My goal for the race was 1hr 40mins I was just over that by a min. So not to bad. (This was a B race) Last updated: 2007-07-24 12:00 AM

Got up at 6:00am. Had brekfeast. toast with peanut butter and a banana. Got my gear together, left the house at 6:30am. I had time so I drove the bike course went up the hill on park road to see how bike it was.
I got to the park in good time I found a good spot to set up. I went and got my # and got ready for the race.
I did a light run about a KM or so. Then I went into the lake for a swim the water was freezing cold.
