Swim
Comments: Very physical swim. I went right into the heart of the pack to start, and it was brutal! Transition 1
Comments: Lake is very far from T1, my time was comparably low to my AG's. What would you do differently?: Not much. Bike
Comments: I kept my wattage to 200 on climbs. Many passed me on uphills, but I brought them all back on the resulting road. I didn't have enough stamina to keep the bike up for the back of the race. After 85 miles, on the uphill, I was smoked. What would you do differently?: It's realative to training. I taught two spinning classes in the week prior to the race. I used up some power that I was going to need at the race. Transition 2
Comments: Fast transition, kept bag very simple. Really helped me out not to overload bag with silly things. Run
Comments: Swim and run were AG equall, and my bike was the worst. Strange for me. Tried to run as much as possible, the glucose tabs really kept me focused. Post race
Event comments: Disappointing post race food. Pizza with lots of toppings, cookies, no bagels. Last updated: 2007-07-28 12:00 AM

Great plan. I went to the drop zone for the special needs bag first. Really worked out well. I had lots of free time after I fueled up my bike and race bags.
A few swim strokes but the event doesn't give much warmup space
