Swim
Comments: This was my strongest event What would you do differently?: Warm up with a small swim Transition 1
What would you do differently?: Keep practicing Bike
Comments: I was still a little scared of the bike course from last year. I felt much better this year, and hit my goal time of 1:15. What would you do differently?: Practice hills Transition 2
Comments: I forgot my running belt at first. What would you do differently?: Still need to practice and get much quicker with this Run
Comments: Ran with no socks. It felt fine. My first lap was good. I realized after the first lap at 27 mins that I had almost almost 35 mins to get 2:45. I still did not try to run very hard. I wanted to finish strong. I did and got 2:40. Post race
Warm down: No real warm down. Drank water, waited for Lisa to cheer her on. What limited your ability to perform faster: I beat my time from last year by 29 minutes. I beat my goal time of 2:45. I was very happy with my performance. Still need to practice transitions. Event comments: Still don't give away medals or trophies. But they do buy beer at a local bar (The Biltmore) after the race.
