Worst swim ever; goggles leaked and caused constant problems, ill fitting wetsuit dug into skin around shoulders...course was brutal; after first 1/4 with tide, the next 1/2 against took forever, and the water was, in spots, filthy with trash and full of stinging jellyfish.
What would you do differently?:

New wetsuit, different goggles, practice more ocean swims

I did not feel like I was pushing hard, but my HR was inching towards 170, so I kept steady...the run was actually great, my best time in any race by ~20s/mile.

Good race; if they could find a way to avoid swimming against the current and the pockets of trash/jellies (around the pier), it would have been great.
