Swim
Comments: I cut the bottom of my foot going down the chute. I thought I had a splinter. I couldnt see without my glasses.... I Shook it off and did the swim. I was thrilled with my swim. I had done alot of open water swim practice with my son who would go out on his surf board and act as my "bouy" and my coach. Many might have heard my son"cheering" on the bridge one mile before the end of the race. He is very encouraging (not to mention loud) What would you do differently?: Nothing!!!!! Transition 1
Comments: I took way too long. I was trying to clean my foot, and finally just put on my socks and went. Didnt feel the cut at all till after the race. Bike
Transition 2
Run
Comments: The run is the most difficult for me. I had a wonderful women who paced me for the last mile of the race. She was 61 years old and very inspiring! Post race
Event comments: I had a great time at this event. I plan to do another triathlon next month!!! It will be difficult to beat this experience Last updated: 2007-07-31 12:00 AM
