Made sure I got there early this time! Set up transition, went for a short ride/run/swim, hung out.

Comments:

Had a great swim, felt strong and navigated so much better than the last race. Was the first time I was able to bilateral breath the whole race. I think it was because I was unusually calm before the race started.
What would you do differently?:

Learn to draft.

Bike went better than expected. I've never ridden that fast in a race before on the old 88 supercycle so I was totally impressed with myself. Decided just to give it all I had. Chain fell off on a downhill, waited till I had no more momentum (which was halfway up the next hill!) popped it back on and booted it up the hill. It was a good ride overall.
What would you do differently?:

Buy a new bike!

I need a new bike, I put it on the hardest gear and at times its not enough, I just have to coast.
