Pre-race routine:

Bagel at the crack o' dawn. Good lord, it was frickin cold out.
Event warmup:

The usual standing around, being nervous, trying to get my ipod set up so it wouldn't choke me. Seriously, actually the walk from the car to the starting line was a good 15 minute walk so I was loosened up a little.

Comments:

I felt good during the run. The first 3 miles went by faster than I Was expecting!! Pulse was up around 179 by the time I was 0.5 mile from the finish line.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. I am pretty psyched. I want to make myself go faster but realistically I hit my goal.

Warm down:

Walk around, grab a pretzel, find my friends, drink a Guinness. mmmmm.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

level of fitness.

Event comments:

Philly is so good at holding this race. I have had a great time for the two years that I have participated in events. I'm there next year!!
