some kind of weird sound in the water! a sort of hissing sound. We all though it was water snakes chasing us!

They really need to clearly mark RUN OUT, either on the pavement or put up a sign. I've done this race 3 times and every year I think run out is on the other side.

Try to have my wits about me so I know which direction to run out
