Good swim. Water very shallow so it was pretty much a run/dive through waves to the first buoy before turning south.

Good ride. Kept up a 21 mph pace most of the race.Shifted into higher gear for the last few miles and upped the pace. Working on new aero position on bike but didn't change into new position until turn around.
What would you do differently?:

Shift into higher gear earlier into the race. Better aero position on the bike.

Need to do more running and speed work.

Training. I haven't been doing much running or swimming.

Event comments:

Well run, well organized race. Lots of volunteers. They didn't use timing chips but managed to get race splits.
