Pre-race routine:

Went to Moms house. Stretched then road bike over to race.
Event warmup:

Set up Bike in transition area. Then went for a short run to warm up.

Start was rough. Got stuck in the middle of the pack and had a hard time getting going. Once I got around the first bouy everything was fine but I lost some time.
What would you do differently?:

Start the swim in front go out hard and then settle into a rythum.

Long run from beach. Felt ok out of the water.
What would you do differently?:

Need to get my shoes on faster. Make sure I set out a towel to clean my feet off. Need to run faster from the water to T1.

Good ride. No changes. Very flat so it was fast and smooth roads helped. Speed was perfect at 21.7 MPH.

What would you do differently?:

Need to go quicker. Need a race belt so i do not have to change shirts. Should take my feet out of my bike shoes before I get off the bike and run in socks instead of shoes. Need to work on this.

Good run. Got out of T2 good and felt good the whole run. Pace was very good.
What would you do differently?:

I should go a little harder. I need to raise my heart rate alittle to go faster.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Trasitions times. And new to the swim. Not sure how hard to go on the run. This will take time to figuare out.
