Swim
Comments: It was a good swim for the most part, it took me a while to find a rhythm but once I did I felt good. Zero visibility and I am not sure if that is normal or not. I would swim up on people and have no idea they were there. What would you do differently?: Maybe jump in and warm up in the water. It took me a while to get my breathing down. Comments: Frist transition, I need to be faster here. I thought about having the shoes on the clips but i don't see this being a benefit. I need a system. What would you do differently?: Not sure, have a towel and just try to be faster. I think once I have done a few they will get faster Bike
Comments: I need to spend more time on the bike. This is very obviously a weak spot for me. What would you do differently?: Try to learn to power up hills at a high cadence to save my legs for the run. Transition 2

Comments: I know I can run a lot faster then this but I was just spent from the bike and I just could not bring myself to kick.The heat, the fatigue I need to be more mentally tough here. What would you do differently?: Try to save something for the run somehow. Do some bricks, it took me a while to get in any sort of groove. Post race

I got up early had a power bar for breakfast, got to the race early, got inked, set up realized a towel is a required item. No big deal. Fought off the pre race jitters. Lookes at the swim course. Talked to some folks I know and hydrated with a bottle of Gatorade.
No real warm up, some minor stretching, mostly just trying to have a plan was all consuming to me.
