Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:30am and had some oatmeal.
Event warmup:

Jogged for a 1/2 mile or so. Not too much warm up

The water was really warm. Only difficulty I had on the out and back was sighting on the way back. My goggles were a little foggy and the sun was just coming up over the trees. I think I could only see 3 or 4 feet in front of me. I couldn't spot any of the buoys. Seems the distance may have been a little long based on the times. Not sure though.
What would you do differently?:

Here is where my races always fall apart. Man, am I slow on the bike. It sucks to be in one of the first waves and be in the top 3rd of the wave for the swim and then to be out on the bike and constantly get passed by people. I know a lot of it probably has to do with lack of time in the saddle but maybe some of it has to do with my bike and bike setup. I should have a triathlon bike within the next month so we will see if this makes any difference from my road bike.

Ony a decent run for me. I think with the heat and being so down after the bike I didn't give it my all on the run.

Put more effort into my run.
