Swim
Comments: I started off great and kind of went downhill after that. Initially I was hoping to do around 30 minutes for the swim and I wanted to make sure that I took my time and concentrate on my form. Well, when I started to take my time, my form fell apart. My hips sank and I was certainly creating drag. However, anytime I don't drown, the swim is good. What would you do differently?: Concentrate more on my form. Transition 1
Comments: Transition was just transition. Bike
Comments: I'm realizing more and more that my cycling is horrible. I really need to "ride lots" and get better. I know that it will come, but it gets frustrating. What would you do differently?: Spend more time concentrating on my riding. Transition 2
Comments: Transition was just transition. Run
Comments: I had a good run considering that my swim and bike didn't go so well. Running is my most comfortable aspect of the tri. I felt strong and I didn't have too many issues concerning my legs transitioning from cycling to running. It went very smooth. Post race
Event comments: This race went well for me. My main concern was just finishing and making sure that I survived. I was a little frustrated with my swimming and biking, but hopefully things will get better because it has to. I really enjoyed the race and even though I did it faster last year, I felt the race was better organized this year. I will come back next year. Last updated: 2007-08-28 12:00 AM

Got up at 3:30a and decided to gather up all my gear for the race. I probably should have done this the night before, but in all honesty, I was just lazy and didn't feel like doing it.
