I got new shoes that don't tie (velcro only) so hopefully I'll be faster next time.

I'm not a good runner but I finished and I felt pretty good.

Lose some weight... maybe that would help my speed!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my weight.

Event comments:

It was great except I would have done the following differently...
1) brighter swim caps. Black and blue are hard to see.
2) space the men/women waves further apart. The fast women swam into to slow men which was annoying. The swim is my best leg of the race and I NEED that advantage. I'd like not to be swimming into the back of the slow men.
3) work out the run and/or bike so that they are not loops or out and back... boring.

Course: triangle. I went a little wide after the last turn which cost me a little time, otherwise I think it was a good swim. I wish they would have spread the waves out a little more and not start the women only 2 minutes after the men.... see bottom for more.
