Swim
Comments: My best Tri swim ever! Went out very relaxed. Had a good, long stroke for me and perfect navigation. I can say I took the absolute shortest course. First time I've ever done that. Lake was perfect. Crystal clear and calm. What would you do differently?: From where I'm at with swimming, this was the peak. Hopefully I'll be even better next year. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition compared to the field. From lake to transition area is up about 50 steps, so this was real good. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: I started out pretty good, but really faded on this ride. My training has lacked a bit over the last 6 weeks, and that has probably affected me. This is a really tough course, though, and I did as good as I could. What would you do differently?: Train better Transition 2
Comments: Good Transition What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Survival! That is all I can say about this run! Couldn't feel my feet until after the first mile (cold from the bike). I was dying and my legs were burning. Tried to just keep them moving over the top of the hills. I finished the run portion about 30 seconds slower than last year, so conditioning is definitely not where I want it to be. What would you do differently?: Need better training Post race
Warm down: None, I was dead! What limited your ability to perform faster: Training Event comments: Second time doing this race, and I enjoyed it even better than last year! I really love the course. It is super tough, but fun. Last updated: 2007-08-30 12:00 AM
