Swim
Comments: I started the swim joking around with ppl in my wave. I waded out a bit before swimming.I felt really good during the swim, was able to get on some feet and my sighting was pretty good. I felt like I swam faster than my time shows. What would you do differently?: Swim faster! Transition 1
Comments: 1st AG 17th OA Decent T1, got a little cramp pulling off the wetsuit, otherwise it was alright What would you do differently?: Go faster Bike
Comments: I felt good and managed my gears a little better. I"m still not spending enough time on the bike during training. Nutrition was good, drank a bottle and had 2 GU's. Felt like I had a strong ride, no big complaints. What would you do differently?: More T.I.T.S so i can go faster. Transition 2
Comments: Came off the bike well. Had some trouble getting it in the rack but it worked out. What would you do differently?: Be faster. Run
Comments: Didn't feel strong. I think the marathon training is wearing on me, plus I had a lazy week before the race. Didn't have much pop in the legs, I"m a little let down by my run. Post race
Warm down: Light jogging and stretching. Ate some good food and hung out with some good BT'ers What limited your ability to perform faster: Recent training loads and losing focus at the end of the season. Rye bagel with peanut butter, a banana and some GU2O for breakfast. Drove to race site, picked up packet, got marked and all the usual. Set up transition.
Not much, just some light jogging and stretching
