Comments:

I was using this run as a warm up for a 1/2 marathon in a few weeks time. My heart rate was higher than I would have liked (avg 165) - but then again the course has some sizable hills especiallybetween the 8km and 10km mark. That being said I was very pleased with my time as I ran close to a 15km/hr pace (6:25 / mile). Interestingly it took me about 30 minutes (7km) to start to really feel and and run well. Next stop - Le demi de Jussy (1/2 marathon) on the 16th of Sept.
Post race
Warm down:

stretching and then had a nice bowl of pasta.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

not much. Ran well.

Event comments:

This was the 31st annual running of this race. It was well run and worth doing again.
